The scores obtained in eight GATE 2024 engineering papers - namely Chemical (CH), Civil (CE), Computer Science and Information Technology (CS), Instrumentation (IN), Electrical (EE), Electronics and Communication (EC), Mechanical (ME), and Metallurgical (MT) - will be utilized. Candidates who have appeared in the GATE 2024 examination are eligible to apply. Candidates applying for SAIL will be shortlisted based on their performance in the relevant GATE 2024 examination papers and the company's requirements. Shortlisted candidates will be informed via SAIL's career page website/email/phone number to attend group discussions and interviews. For final selection, marks/points from GATE 2024, GD, and interviews will be weighted in the ratio of 75:10:15 respectively to prepare the merit list.
SAIL Management Trainee Salary Details 2024
Management Trainees (Technical) will be given a basic salary of ₹50,000 per month, ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹1,60,000 per month. Upon successful completion of one year of training, Management Trainees (Technical) will be appointed as Assistant Managers and placed on a salary scale of ₹60,000 to ₹1,80,000 per month. In addition to the basic salary, Management Trainees (Technical) will also receive a cost of living allowance.
