PGCIL Trainee Electrical and Supervisor 2024 Selection Process
Selection for Trainee Electrical: The selection process for Trainee Electrical includes a Written Test/CBT, followed by a Computer Skill Test (CST) where applicable, and a Pre-Employment Medical Examination. This ensures only eligible and fit candidates are selected.
Selection for Trainee Supervisor: The selection process for Trainee Supervisor is based on normalized GATE 2024 marks (out of 100), followed by a Behavioral Assessment, Group Discussion, and a Personal Interview. This comprehensive approach evaluates both technical knowledge and soft skills.
PGCIL Trainee Electrical and Supervisor Recruitment 2024 Pay Scale
PGCIL Trainee Electrical candidates will receive a stipend of Rs. 30,000 - Rs. 1,20,000 during the one-year training. After successful completion, they will be regularized as Assistant Engineers at the same pay scale.
PGCIL Supervisor candidates will undergo a 1-year training with a pay scale of Rs. 24,000 - Rs. 1,08,000 and a basic pay of Rs. 24,000. During training, they'll also receive IDA, HRA, and perks at 12% of basic pay. After successful completion, they will be placed as Sub Junior Engineers at the S0 level with the same pay scale.
