Educational Qualification for Agniveer Vayu 01/2026 Post-
Science Subjects:
10+2/Intermediate with Physics, Math, and English: 50% aggregate, 50% in English.
3-Year Diploma in Engineering: 50% aggregate, 50% in English (or in 10+2/Matric if not in diploma).
2-Year Vocational Course with Physics and Math: 50% aggregate, 50% in English (or in 10+2/Matric if not in course).
Other than Science Subjects:
10+2/Intermediate in any stream: 50% aggregate, 50% in English.
2-Year Vocational Course: 50% aggregate, 50% in English (or in 10+2/Matric if not in course).
Notes:
Science stream candidates can opt for both categories.

IAF Agniveer Vayu Vacancy 2025 Selection Process
Phase-I: Online Test
Admit Card: Candidates receive admit cards via registered email 48-72 hours before the test.
Test Details:
Science Subjects: 60 minutes (Physics, Mathematics, English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus).
Other than Science Subjects: 45 minutes (English and RAGA).
Both Streams: 85 minutes (Physics, Mathematics, English, and RAGA).
Marking Scheme:
+1 for correct answers.
0 for unattempted questions.
-0.25 for incorrect answers.
Phase-II: Shortlisting and Document Verification
4. Shortlisting: Based on normalised marks from Phase-I, state-wise cut-off applied.
5. Admit Card: New admit cards issued for shortlisted candidates via email.
6. Required Documents:
Phase-II admit card (colour print).
Duly filled application form.
Matriculation and 10+2 certificates/marksheets.
Eight passport-size photos.
Domicile/COAFP certificates.
NCC certificates (if applicable).

IAF Agniveer Vayu Vacancy 2025 Salary
The salary for the Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu (Intake 01/2026) under the Agnipath Scheme is structured as follows:
Starting Salary: ₹30,000 per month (approximately) in the first year.
Increased Salary: The salary gradually increases each year based on the service duration, with additional allowances as per government norms.
Retention Bonus: Upon completing four years of service, an Agniveer will receive a one-time Seva Nidhi package, including the amount accumulated during service and a retention bonus (if applicable).

Upon completing a 4-year tenure as an Agniveer in the Indian Air Force, individuals will be entitled to a Seva Nidhi Package worth Rs 11.71 Lakh. Additionally, they will receive a Skill Gained Certificate, which acknowledges the valuable skills and training acquired during their service.
Furthermore, up to 25% of the Agniveer personnel may be selected for permanent roles in the Indian Air Force, transitioning to the regular cadre based on their performance, qualifications, and the needs of the Air Force.
