    AAI Junior Assistant Fire Service Vacancy Qualifications

  • Candidates Domicile : Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Chattisgarh, Andaman & Nicobar Island and Sikkim
  • 10th Pass + 3 years approved regular Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Fire. OR 12th Pass Regular Study
  • Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License OR Valid Medium Vehicle License issued at least one year before the date of advertisement i.e.01/11/2024. OR Valid Light Motor Vehicle License (LMV) issued at least two years before the date of advertisement i.e. 01/11/2024.
  • Hearing Should be Normal
  • Speech Should be Normal
  • Height - for Men : 167 cms and Women: 157 cms
  • Chest - For Men: Normal before expansion : 81 cms and minimum expansion should be 5 cms. For Women – Not Applicable
  • Weight- For Men : more than 55 kg and for women: more than 45 kg
  • The candidate must have a distance vision of 6/6 in each eye without glasses and near vision of N-5 in each eye without glasses. Visual evaluation is conducted individually for each eye. Color vision should be normal, as determined by Ishihara’s charts, and there should be no night blindness. Each eye must have a full field of vision, as determined by the confrontation test. No refractive errors are acceptable

    Stage 1: Written Exam (CBT)
    Duration: 2 hours
    Minimum Pass Marks: 50/100 for UR/EWS/OBC candidates and 40/100 for SC/ST candidates
    Syllabus: Part A: 50% questions on Educational Qualification for the post and Part B: 50% questions on General Knowledge, General Intelligence, Aptitude, English, etc.
    Physical Fitness Test : Above Qualifications Check
    Qualification Criteria: Knocked knee, bow legs, squint, flat feet, chronic disease, or any impairment due to previous major operations.
    Stage 2: Post CBT

  • Minimum Mark Criteria for various tests (e.g., 12 seconds for 100m running for male candidates)

    Training:
  • Basic Training Course (BTC): 18 weeks
  • 2 weeks of Heavy Duty Vehicle Maintenance and Driving Training
  • Stipend during BTC: ₹25,000 per month
  • Post-Training: Appointment will be given after successful completion of BTC.
