  • Must have Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering from any recognized university
  • Sub Inspector (SI)-Draughtsman

  • 10th Pass with 2 years National Tradesman Certificate from ITI in relevant trade and 1 year certificate course of one year experience in AUTOCAD any all india school and institute
  • Sub Inspector (SI)-Communication

  • Degree in Electronics and Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology OR Degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at any Recognized university
  • Sub Inspector (SI)-Staff Nurse (Female)

  • Must have 12th Pass in Science
  • with

  •  3 years Diploma in General Nursing and registered with Central / State Nursing Council and Two years experience in a recognised Hospital.
  • SSB SI Recruitment 2023: Physical Details

    (A) Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for SSB Sub-Inspector (Communication) only:
    1. For Males:
    Complete a 1.6-kilometre run in 6 minutes and 30 seconds.
    2. For Females:
    Complete an 800-meter race in 4 minutes.
    Note:>>>> Ex-servicemen are exempt from PET, but they must participate in other recruitment stages, such as PST, documentation, and applicable medical examinations.
    (B) Physical Standard Test (PST):
    Candidates who have passed the Physical Efficiency Test and candidates for Sub-Inspector (Staff Nurse) Female, Sub-Inspector (Pioneer), and Sub-Inspector (Draughtsman) will be required to undergo the PST. Candidates, including Ex-Servicemen, who do not meet the minimum height and chest requirements, will not proceed further in the recruitment process.
    (B) Physical Standard Test (PST):
    Candidates applying for the position of Sub-Inspector (Communication) who have successfully passed the Physical Efficiency Test and candidates for Sub-Inspector (Staff Nurse) Female, Sub-Inspector (Pioneer), and Sub-Inspector (Draughtsman) will need to undergo a Physical Standard Test (PST). Candidates, including Ex-Servicemen, who do not meet the minimum height and chest requirements will not proceed further in the recruitment process.
    The PST will be conducted as follows:
    For Sub-Inspectors (Pioneer, Draughtsman & Communication)
    For all candidates not belonging to categories 1 & 2:
    1.-Male: Minimum Height - 170 cm, Chest - Minimum 80 cm (with a minimum expansion of 5 cm).
    Female: Height - 157 cm (no chest measurement required).
    For candidates belonging to categories 1 & 2 (Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, candidates from specific states, and Scheduled Tribes):
    2.-Male: Minimum Height - 165 cm, Chest - Minimum 78 cm (with a minimum expansion of 5 cm).
    Female: Height - 157 cm (no chest measurement required).
    For Sub-Inspector (Staff Nurse) Female
    For all candidates not belonging to categories 1 & 2:
    1.-Female: Minimum Height - 157 cm (no chest measurement required).
    For candidates belonging to categories 1 & 2 (Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, candidates from specific states, and Scheduled Tribes):
    2.-Female: Minimum Height - 155 cm (no chest measurement required).

    What is the Selection Process and Exam Pattern for SSB SI Recruitment 2023?

    (1) Written Examination:
  • Candidates who pass the Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test will take a written exam.
  • The written exam will be held at various locations across India for administrative convenience.
  • (2) Common Entrance Test:
  • Duration: 3 hours
  • Total Marks: 150
  • This test includes 150 multiple-choice questions covering topics like General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning, General English/General Hindi, and a technical subject.
