Candidates holding a degree in Engineering or Technology with a focus on Science or Mathematics must have scored a minimum of 55% marks. Equivalent educational qualifications are also considered valid.

For those interested in the Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed. in Sanskrit) program, eligibility includes having 50% marks in a Bachelor’s degree with Sanskrit as a core subject, along with a Master’s degree in Sanskrit or an Acharya degree in traditional Sanskrit studies. Alternatively, candidates who have completed Shastri (B.A. with Sanskrit) with at least 50% marks and have pursued a 2-year Acharya (M.A. Sanskrit) program are also eligible—provided they complete a Bridge Course. Please note that only the final year marks of Acharya/M.A. will be counted towards the percentage; first-year scores will not be included.
